Effective Date: 01.09.2024

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Taleen Tours website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making any bookings or using our services.

  1. General Terms
  • Eligibility: By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  • Accuracy of Information: We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website. However, we do not guarantee that all content, including pricing, descriptions, or availability, is accurate, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions and to update information without prior notice.
  • Use of Services: You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. Any misuse of our website or violation of these Terms may result in the termination of your access to our services.
  1. Bookings & Payments
  • Booking Process: When you make a booking through our website, you are agreeing to purchase the services listed in your booking request. A binding contract will be formed once we confirm your booking and you will receive an invoice on your email address.
  • Payment Terms: All payments must be made according to the invoice received, unless otherwise specified. The payment will be done by bank transfer to our USD bank account. Prices are quoted in USD , and you are responsible for any additional fees, such as currency conversion or bank charges.
  • Changes & Cancellations: Any changes or cancellations to your booking must be communicated to us in writing. Depending on the timing and nature of the changes, additional fees may apply. Please review our Cancellation Policy for specific details.
  • Contract Formation: Your contract for holiday services is signed with Taleen Tours Jordan, a registered entity in Amman. All bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Communication: All official communications from the Travel agency regarding your holiday will be sent to the contact details provided in your booking form. It is your responsibility to ensure that these details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Booking Process: Bookings must be made through an authorized representative of the Travel agency. To initiate a booking, you must complete the Travel agency’s booking form and submit it along with a deposit which will be mentioned on the invoice issued. This process does not guarantee the confirmation of your booking.
  • Booking Confirmation: The receipt of your deposit and booking form by the Travel agency does not imply that your booking is confirmed. A booking is only considered confirmed once the Travel agency issues a written confirmation notice. The Travel agency reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion, without obligation to provide a reason, in which case any deposit received will be refunded in full.
  • Payment Terms: The remaining balance for your holiday must be paid in full no later than 30 days before your scheduled departure date. If full payment is not received by the due date, the Travel agency reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit. The individual who signs the booking form is legally responsible for ensuring that the full payment is made on time. Please note that no payment reminders will be issued.
  • Late Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Special Requests: Any special requests, including dietary preferences or specific accommodations, must be clearly indicated on the booking form. While the Travel agency will make every effort to accommodate such requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
  • Service Provision: The Travel agency will provide the services as outlined and confirmed in your written booking confirmation. Any modifications or additional services requested after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  1. Price Variations and Payment Terms
  • Price Adjustments Before Booking Confirmation: The agency reserves the right to inform you of any price increases before finalizing and accepting your booking. This ensures that you are aware of the most accurate cost before entering into a binding agreement.
  • Price Variations After Booking Confirmation: Once a Confirmation Invoice has been issued, the price of your holiday may still be subject to adjustments unless you have chosen to pay in full at the time of booking. Potential surcharges may arise from factors such as fluctuations in transportation costs (including fuel prices), increases in published airfares, taxes or fees related to services like airport landing charges, or changes in the exchange rate applied to your package. Additionally, any new taxes or levies imposed by government or regulatory bodies may also affect the price.
  • However, the agency will absorb any cost increases up to 2% of your holiday price before applying any surcharge to you. Only price increases exceeding this 2% threshold will result in a surcharge. Should this occur, you will receive a revised Confirmation Invoice reflecting the updated price.
  • Right to Cancel Due to Significant Price Increases: If a surcharge results in an increase of 10% or more in the total holiday price shown on your original Confirmation Invoice, you have the right to cancel your booking. To exercise this option, you must notify the Travel agency within 14 days of receiving the revised Confirmation Invoice. Upon cancellation, you will be entitled to a full refund of all payments made, including any amendment charges previously incurred.
  • Fixed Price Option: You may choose to pay for your holiday in full at the time of booking. By doing so, you lock in the holiday price at the rate quoted on your Confirmation Invoice, safeguarding yourself against any future surcharges. To take advantage of this option, you must return the signed Confirmation Invoice along with full payment to the agency within 3 days of the invoice date.
  • No Price Reductions Due to Currency Strengthening: Given the financial commitments outlined above, the agency cannot offer price reductions if the value of the Jordan Dinar strengthens after your booking has been confirmed. The price agreed upon at the time of confirmation remains fixed, except for potential surcharges as described in sections above.

  1. Travel Documents & Requirements
  • Passports & Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary travel documents, including a valid passport with minimum 6 month validity and any required visas, for your trip. We are not liable for any issues arising from your failure to obtain the correct documentation.
  • Health & Safety: You are responsible for meeting all health requirements for your travel, including vaccinations. We recommend that you check travel advisories and consult your doctor regarding any health precautions.

  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Changes to Your Holiday: While we strive to deliver your holiday as planned, it may occasionally be necessary to make changes. The Travel agency reserves the right to do so at any time and will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible. In the event of a major change that does not arise from circumstances beyond our control, you will have the following options: (i) accept the revised arrangements, (ii) choose an alternative holiday from us, or (iii) cancel your holiday for a full refund. Compensation may be provided in cases of significant changes, as outlined below.
No compensation will be provided for minor changes, which include but are not limited to, slight modifications to departure and arrival times, changes to the type of aircraft used, and alterations to restaurant or accommodation arrangements that meet or exceed the original standard.
  • Force Majeure: The Travel agency will not pay compensation for changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, natural or man-made disasters, technical transportation issues, airport closures or congestion, and adverse weather conditions. It is essential that you secure adequate travel insurance to cover such eventualities.
  • Holiday Cancellation by the Agency: The Travel agency reserves the right to cancel your holiday at any time before departure, even after a confirmation notice has been issued. If your holiday is canceled, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to the Travel agency. No compensation will be provided in these cases.
  • Transportation Terms: Transportation is subject to the carrier’s conditions of carriage, some of which may limit or exclude liability. These conditions are governed by international agreements between countries, and copies of the relevant conditions will typically be available on your carrier’s tickets.
  • Non-Payment and Automatic Cancellation: If the balance of your holiday price is not paid at least 30 days before the scheduled departure, the Travel agency will treat your booking as canceled and apply the cancellation charges outlined below.
  • Right to Refuse Participation: The Travel agency reserves the right to refuse service to any person whose behavior or actions could endanger the health, safety, or enjoyment of others on the tour. In such cases, the Travel agency’s liability is limited to a refund of any payments made, minus the cost of services already rendered and any administrative fees incurred.
  • Cancellation made by the tourist: You may cancel your holiday at any time by providing written notice to the Travel agency. The following cancellation charges will apply based on the time before departure when the cancellation is received:
  • 30 days or more: 50% of the deposit
  • 15 – 30 days: 100% of the deposit

  • Conduct and Behavior: By booking with the Travel agency, you agree to behave in an orderly manner and to avoid actions that could disrupt the enjoyment of others or damage the Travel agency’s reputation. Breaching this condition may result in the immediate termination of your holiday, with no further contractual obligation from the Travel agency. The offending party may also be liable for any damages caused.
